About Us

Where the Kampong Spirit Meets AI

We were founded on a simple belief: that AI adoption works best when it's a shared community effort, not a top-down mandate. Kampong Sync brings people together around technology rather than replacing one with the other.

Our Story

Built in Singapore, for Singapore

Kampong Sync began as a small consultation practice in 2019, helping mid-size Singapore companies understand what was changing in their industries — and how technology, particularly data and automation tools, was shifting what organisations needed from their people.

As AI capabilities matured and became more practically accessible to businesses outside the technology sector, we saw a clear need: not for more hype, but for patient, contextualised support that helped ordinary teams develop genuine working knowledge of AI tools relevant to their actual roles.

The name reflects that intent. The kampong — the traditional village community — is built on mutual support, shared knowledge, and collective progress. We carry those values into how we design our engagements: structured, unhurried, and grounded in your organisation's real context.

Today we work across sectors including financial services, healthcare administration, logistics, retail, and professional services — helping organisations in Singapore make thoughtful, sustainable progress on AI capability-building.

Our Mission

To help Singapore organisations build lasting AI capability — not through quick fixes, but through structured learning that respects people's existing knowledge and working patterns.

Our Vision

A Singapore workforce that works confidently alongside AI — where people understand what these tools do, know their limits, and can advocate clearly for how they should be used in their organisations.

Our Values

Patience, clarity, and respect for people's autonomy. We believe AI literacy should feel empowering, not intimidating — and that the right pace of adoption is the one that actually takes hold.

Standards

How We Maintain Quality

SkillsFuture Framework Alignment

Our programmes are designed with reference to Singapore's national skills framework, supporting organisations in tracking employee development against recognised competency standards.

PDPA-Compliant Data Handling

All client data, including organisational information shared during needs assessments and workshop exercises, is handled in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act.

Post-Engagement Assessment

Every programme concludes with a structured assessment of what participants can now do. We're honest about where development is still needed and clear about what we'd suggest next.

Curriculum Currency

The AI landscape moves quickly. We review and update our programme content at least quarterly to ensure participants are working with current tools, terminology, and real-world examples.

Facilitator Continuing Development

All team members engage in regular peer review, attend industry events, and participate in structured learning to stay current with both AI developments and adult education best practice.

Participant Feedback Integration

Structured feedback is collected at each session milestone and reviewed seriously. Programme adjustments based on participant input are standard practice, not an exception.

AI Integration Expertise for Singapore Organisations

Singapore's position as a regional hub for financial services, logistics, healthcare, and professional services means its workforce faces AI adoption questions that are both sophisticated and time-sensitive. Organisations here cannot afford to fall behind in capability-building, but they equally cannot afford to adopt AI carelessly.

Kampong Sync works at the intersection of AI capability and workforce development — helping teams develop the critical understanding needed to evaluate AI tools, work alongside automated processes, and contribute meaningfully to decisions about how AI is deployed in their organisations.

Our work spans business units and seniority levels. From operations staff learning to use AI-assisted reporting tools, to leadership teams developing governance frameworks for AI deployment — the scope of what we address reflects the breadth of what AI adoption actually involves in practice.

Singapore's strong emphasis on workforce development through national frameworks like SkillsFuture makes it a particularly well-suited environment for what we do. We design our programmes to complement rather than duplicate what organisations are already doing in the learning and development space.

Let's Talk About Where You're Starting From

There's no need to have a fully-formed plan before reaching out. Many of our best engagements begin with a simple conversation about where an organisation currently stands.
